For those of us who call Thamesmead home, the festival (through all its different versions over the years!) has become a real fixture in the summer calendar. It’s one of those days where the whole community comes together to celebrate everything that makes this place special – live music, creativity, great food, familiar faces and, if tradition continues, hopefully plenty of glorious sunshine!

If you’re heading to Southmere Park on Saturday 8 August, don’t forget we’re just a few minutes away in Cygnet Square, overlooking our beautiful Southmere Lake.

Whether you’re making a day of it, taking a break from the festival, or fancy carrying on afterwards, we’d love to see you.

We’ll be open all day, serving our full range of craft beers, cocktails, wines, ciders and more. You’ll also be able to grab carry-out beers to enjoy responsibly while soaking up the festival atmosphere.

One of our favourite parts of festival day is hearing everyone’s stories when they stop by afterwards – the bands they loved, the people they bumped into and all the little moments that make the day memorable.
